Music: The Fiery Furnaces: I’m Going Away

One of this year’s surprise faves, Memphis based Jay Reatard, may have famously (okay famously if you are a music geek) dissed the Brooklyn music scene as a whole, but he must have overlooked the at least 20 or so that are really good (or who cares what he says). Anyway, out of those 20, brother and sister duo The Fiery Furnaces still reign somewhere near the top of the borough with their protean mix of tunes; their latest LP is on play often here at Fanzine. ^_-CM
