While most of this year’s Genesis P-Orridge attention has been given to his reunion tours with an earlier band, the legendary noise pioneers Throbbing Gristle, I have to say TG is sounding a lot more like Genesis’ follow up band, the psychedelic house pioneers Psychic TV, and you might have forgotten that PTV put out an exquisite LP this year of original material (and a great cover of the Velvet Underground’s ‘Foggy Notion’, etc, etc). P-Orridge is at the top of his game in anything he does these days. The change is becoming. Like an Indian shaman beyond one form of sex, P’s power is increasing exponentially. ^_-CM
