The passage of the Adult Use of Marijuana Act has opened up the largest market in a legal marijuana industry already valued at close to $6 billion. The question is this: will the new law protect the small, organic, California weed farmer who took considerable risk building a functioning underground industry out of an ideal of autonomy and dissent?
