There’s certainly nothing funny about messing with the elderly (just as those “messing with Sasquatch” commercials aren’t funny). I mean once you’ve worked your whole life and maybe even fought Nazis like some inglorious bastard and you’ve finally figured out Medicare, the last thing you want to worry about is the thought that it could get more complicated, or god forbid, run by the government (Medicare is run by the government btw, lest we forget, very popular, though very in debt).  A couple of days ago maybe you saw Arlen Specter field salvos from the voice of the “sleeping giant”, but do we really need to scare the bejeezus out of our seniors in order to get a functioning health care system in this country? Is this another Willie Horton campaign, or should we really be afraid of universal health care? Ummm….Humph… well I wish I had some, health care that is, but anyway, make sure to hit your town hall meeting, should be a hoot.  -CM
