Saw Amy McDaniel read the other evening in East Atlanta––bit of fiction and some poetry from her new collection Selected Adult Lessons on Agnes Fox Press. As she read with bright celerity, there was a collision of dialectical voices, one checking the other, a bit of battling that ultimately flows out smooth like a boat’s wake backwards to some great engine, one that masticates the celebration of individuality- intellectually, sexually, whimsically.
