Novelty rap song or brilliant character portrait? “Dennehy” is the single from Chicago rapper Serengeti’s album of the same name. The video looks like something you and your friends might come up with — wearing false mustaches and playing softball. Serengeti creates a portrait of the album’s protagonist Kenny and his hometown through a list of preferences. “Say goodbye a little longer like I ate a piece of Big Red/Grow a mustache the size of Mike Ditka’s forehead/Hair combed to the side, looking like a piece of foam.” -Ben Bush
