“Suicide is painless.” Ah those old diehard M*A*S*H* Fans… (T Cooper…wink, nudge).

Well, certainly it is painless, if you don’t actually kill yourself. Question is, how painful is resurrection? The American Music Club lamented in a great song “Gratitude Walks” that “Lazarus wasn’t grateful for his second wind… What were the first words that crowd heard him speak/I bet he was cursing at the sky/ I bet he wasn’t turning no other cheek.”

Anyway, was just curious what’s going through former fugitive hedge fund manager Sam Israel’s head, now that he’s not dead…. Israel had faked his own death and had written the lyrics to the M*A*S*H* theme on the dust of an abandoned car (near the bridge he pretended to have jumped off of). He’s now in custody, after turning himself in to authorities.
