Tim Burton got his start at Walt Disney studios, where he worked for several years as an animator before jumping to live-action directing with the awesomely weird “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure”. Burton’s show at Moma shows a different side of the prolific director, consisting of his paintings, photographs, drawings, conceptual work, storyboards and costumes for his films, spanning from his childhood to now.
