A major retrospective of Yayoi Kusama’s entire career will open at the Whitney on July 12. Kusama is most famous for her psychedelic, polka-dotted paintings, sculptures, and installations. On display will be Kusama’s superb installation, Fireflies on the Water, which uses mirrors and lights to create a surreal, glittering world. This is definitely a show to see. –ABP
